    Anya Taylor-Joy (born April 16, 1994) is an actress. She was born in Miami and was raised in Argentina and the United Kingdom before moving back to the United States to pursue a career in acting. She made her television debut in 2014 in the series Endeavour.

    Taylor-Joy's breakout role was as Thomasin in The Witch, for which she earned several awards. She has since starred in television and film works spanning a variety of genres, earning award nominations for roles including the titular character in Emma, Beth Harmon in The Queen's Gambit, Olga in The Northman, and Margot in The Menu.
